Job description
About the company
Red Bull introduced a brand-new product in 1987 and went on to establish the energy drinks category. The company now has about 22,000 employees across more than 178 countries and sold over 14 billion cans last year. Working in the World of Red Bull means joining a place where your talent and drive can be developed further while contributing to the company’s mission of inspiring people and ideas.
Role overview
As a Striker, also known as a Field Sales Representative, you will manage a dedicated sales territory across a defined area. Your focus will be to deliver strong retail execution across independent, corporate grocery, and P&C accounts, while ensuring Red Bull products are distributed widely, available consistently, and presented according to Perfect Store standards.
Territory ownership
You will take responsibility for your assigned geographic area and work toward key performance goals that support strong execution across multiple account types. A key part of the role is building productive relationships with third-party partners and applying the Red Bull MVP mindset and values in day-to-day work.
Business development
You will plan your activity across the territory, complete allocated visits, and maintain regular contact with customers. The role includes expanding both the reach and depth of product distribution with existing accounts, as well as converting new business opportunities in non-traditional channels.
Long-term sales drivers
You will strengthen relationships with key customers and new prospects while improving Red Bull’s visibility in stores. This includes achieving cold can and cashier placement across channels, increasing product availability, and using category insights to grow shelf space and presence in-store.
Short-term sales drivers
You will work with both corporate and independent accounts to build customer relationships, support in-store presence, and deliver displays during key promotional periods. The role requires preselling and executing promotional activity in line with campaign timelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of sales experience is needed; experience in FMCG is preferred but not mandatory.
- You should be capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Strong sales ability is important, including negotiation, handling objections, and understanding commercial priorities.
- The job suits someone who is well organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as with others.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- A current full driver’s licence is essential.
- You must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
Eligibility
Applicants must be qualified to work in Australia and may need to provide proof of that right in accordance with the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).
