Role overview

PwC Singapore’s Advisory line is looking for an intern to join Strategy& Deals, its strategy consulting practice focused on deal-related and broader strategic work. The team supports clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, market entry, growth planning, and strategic reviews. The role is based in Singapore and is part of a fast-paced internship environment within a professional services setting.

About Strategy& Deals

The Strategy& Deals team advises organisations on major strategic choices across the deal cycle. Its work blends commercial understanding with structured analysis to help clients assess markets, test investment ideas, uncover opportunities and risks, and convert insights into practical actions. The group contributes to value creation, transaction support, and strategy development for clients facing complex decisions.

What you will do

• Support strategy professionals on real client assignments involving senior stakeholders and complex business issues.
• Contribute to work that is often short-cycle, high-pressure, and highly analytical.
• Work across different industries and project types to build commercial judgement and problem-solving ability.
• Take part in assignments spanning corporate strategy, deal advisory, and government-related strategy work.
• Help build strategic frameworks, market assessments, and recommendations that influence investment, growth, and transformation decisions.
• Learn through structured training, coaching on the job, and mentoring from experienced strategists and Partners.

The ideal candidate is a student from any academic background at a local or overseas university who is strongly motivated to pursue deals strategy. The role suits someone with strong analytical ability, sound business judgement, and the confidence to work independently in a changing environment.
