Strategic Employee Communications Specialist

Role overview

This position focuses on planning and delivering communication programs that keep employees aligned with the organization’s direction, culture, leadership updates, and employee experience efforts.

Scope of work

• Handle leadership and executive communication, as well as business and strategic messaging.
• Support internal communication channels such as the employee magazine, podcast, radio, and digital platforms.
• Develop employee and culture-focused content, including videos, articles, and success stories.
• Contribute to crisis, emergency, and business continuity communication needs.
• Assist with communication for organizational transformation initiatives.
• Support and moderate organizational events such as rollouts, town halls, and leadership engagement sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Help run employee communication activities across internal channels like the employee magazine, podcast, culture-story videos, and digital displays.
• Draft and curate content centered on employees, such as articles, leadership messages, employee stories, video production inputs, organizational announcements, and campaign material.
• Prepare visual communication assets, including posters and videos.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect updates, achievements, culture stories, and organizational news.
• Support major activities during town halls, Kia India events, and leadership communication programs.
