Role Overview
The Strategic Account Manager will cultivate robust partnerships with OEMs, local partners, and consultants to drive sales growth within the designated geographical area or vertical. This position requires executing business strategies, expanding the customer base, and maintaining frequent client interactions through presentations and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners including OEMs, local partners, and consultants.
- Participate in business planning and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition in the assigned region or vertical.
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and sales presentations to customers.
- Understand customer requirements and devise effective plans to fulfill their needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for new business opportunities and coordinate with service departments to ensure sales order execution.
- Consistently review business development initiatives and report progress.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the assigned territory.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 14 years of experience in sales focused on PSU and government sector, including defence business.
- Expertise in Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, Networking, Data Center solutions, Disaster Recovery, Server and Router migration and solutions.
- Proven experience in government and PSU sales, cybersecurity sales, infrastructure and enterprise sales, defence sales, AI sales, and associated technologies including NGFW, DLP, WAF, Anti-DDoS, SLB, GSLB, LB, EDR, XDR, SIEM, and SOAR.
- Experience collaborating with global OEMs such as Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Aten, Juniper, HP, Arista, Aruba, Infoblox and class I OEMs like Niveti, Gajshield, Array, Sequrite, Seclore, Hexagon, and Belden, including work with proof of concept (PoC) initiatives.
- Strong ability to identify and engage senior decision-makers.
- Capacity to quickly grasp and apply technical knowledge of products, services, and solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, target-driven, and a successful track record in sales achievements.
- Organized and goal-oriented team player.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for work engagements.
