Role overview

We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and practical Storeperson to join the Larapinta Service Branch. This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity suited to someone who has recently completed school and is looking to start a career in a busy operations environment.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will help keep the parts function running smoothly by supporting internal teams and Crown customers, handling inventory accurately, and ensuring parts are moved, stored, and dispatched efficiently.

This position involves delivering parts using a Crown vehicle to locker locations across Brisbane, as well as supporting broader distribution activity across Toowoomba and the Gold Coast. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, organised systems, and providing reliable service.

Key duties

• Transport parts to Crown lockers throughout Brisbane, Toowoomba, and the Gold Coast.
• Respond promptly to parts requests from both internal staff and external customers.
• Help prepare, process, and send parts orders to customers and service technicians.
• Accurately assemble, package, and dispatch outgoing parts.
• Accept incoming freight, check goods on arrival, and make sure items are logged and stored correctly.
• Keep precise records of stock movements and inventory transactions.
• Carry out stock control tasks, including stock counts and discrepancy reporting.
• Recognise core return items and assist with remanufacturing-related activities when needed.
• Support delivery runs and parts distribution to field service locations.
• Maintain a tidy, orderly, and efficient stores area.
• Contribute to the Parts team and assist with ongoing improvement initiatives.

Skills and experience

• Current Class C driver licence.
• Suitable for an entry-level candidate.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to records and detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment with deadlines.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Self-motivated and focused on achieving results.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining an organised workplace.
• Experience in a stores, warehouse, or parts role is preferred.
