About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Storeperson to become part of our Trade Store Warehouse team located in Gladstone. This position requires active involvement in daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on dispatch, freight logistics, and truck loading tasks. The successful candidate will be capable of working autonomously and is ideally suited to someone balancing other life responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, and properly store incoming inventory items.
  • Efficient and safe loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Operate various forklifts including high reach, gas-powered counterbalance, and side-loading models.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and uphold high warehouse presentation standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety rules and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant prior experience in warehouse, storeperson, or logistics functions.
  • Familiarity with freight management systems such as Sorrento is advantageous.
  • Personal values aligned with the integrity standards upheld by Blackwoods.
  • Previous experience in driving or the transport sector is a plus.
  • Possession of a current LF forklift license with hands-on experience in counterbalance and high reach forklift operations.
