Job description

Role Overview

Join our team as a Store Services and Compliance Officer where you will collaborate closely with store leadership to uphold compliance in key areas such as payroll and food safety. This position plays a critical role in guiding new team members as their first point of contact for payroll related queries and ensures rapid resolution of compliance issues to support store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an inclusive and engaging team atmosphere promoting exceptional customer experiences both in-store and online.
  • Coach and assist store leaders ensuring the store environment remains safe and follows all compliance standards.
  • Operate effectively within a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced retail setting to support team and business growth.
  • Partner with store leadership to champion a team-first culture via involvement in recruitment, training, and payroll processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrate commitment to customer delight through active Everyday ACTs – Acknowledge, Care and Thank.
  • Prioritize safety for customers and staff by enforcing proper in-store procedures.
  • Eager to learn supermarket day-to-day operations to offer valuable support to store teams.

Work Schedule

This role involves a rostered shift from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the advantage of a 4-day work week to support your work-life balance.
