Role overview
Reporting to the Parts Manager, this Store Person position is based in Larapinta and sits within a friendly team environment. The role offers an hourly rate, bonus opportunity, and TMHA employee benefits.
Key duties
- Manage the receiving, processing, and dispatching of goods.
- Take part in ongoing stock counts and inventory checks.
- Keep the Outlook inbox organised and up to date.
- Provide support to the branch network for warehouse-related enquiries.
- Help develop and maintain safe work methods and procedures across warehouse operations.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and procedures.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Parts Manager or other Parts team members.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet workplace targets.
- Apply 5S and Kaizen methods in day-to-day work.
Experience and skills needed
Applicants must have prior storeperson experience and hands-on experience operating a forklift and order picker. A current LO/LF licence is essential. The role also requires sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with exposure to supply chain and logistics environments and familiarity with MRP practices. Strong customer service orientation, a safety-first mindset, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, adaptability, and a positive team-focused attitude are also important.
