Role overview
JB Hi-Fi is opening a brand-new store in Napier and is hiring two experienced retail leaders to help launch it successfully. The business is seeking a Store Manager and a Sales Manager who can build a strong team, create an excellent customer experience, and establish the store’s standards from day one.
JB Hi-Fi is a well-known New Zealand retailer with a practical, energetic culture. The company offers technology, consumer electronics, home entertainment, and appliances at competitive prices, across stores, online, and through its business division.
What you will do
The selected leaders will guide the store team, drive sales performance, and ensure smooth day-to-day retail operations. Training will begin before the store opens, and some travel may be required during this period.
You will be expected to lead a united team that delivers strong sales, great service, effective merchandising, and high operational standards across all product groups.
Key focus areas
This role involves people leadership, team development, planning, merchandising, budgeting, and stock control. The company is looking for someone who leads by example, works well with others, and is committed to ongoing team growth.
JB Hi-Fi trades seven days a week in most locations, so flexibility with working hours is important.
