Store Detective (m/f/d) — Career Changers Welcome

About the role

We are a growing security services company that delivers professional protection and safety solutions to clients at a high standard. To strengthen our team in the Kiel area, we are looking for dependable and motivated people to work as store detectives. Career changers are welcome.

The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, is permanent, and can start immediately.

Pay is between EUR 16.00 and EUR 25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and the specific responsibilities assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor activity on the sales floor and identify suspicious behavior at an early stage.
• Carry out regular patrols throughout the store and help protect inventory.
• Record incidents and prepare reports on thefts and other irregularities.
• Work closely with sales staff to help maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts and assist with incident clarification.

• Strong powers of observation and a careful eye for detail to spot suspicious activity quickly.
• Good communication skills for teamwork and, when needed, interaction with customers or employees.
• Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
• High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility to maintain the trust of the company and its customers.
