Overview
Hyatt Place Al Ula is hiring a Store Clerk to help launch the property. This opening is part of Hyatt’s growing presence in the region and will support a hotel that includes 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage venues, meeting areas, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, serving both leisure and business guests.
Role summary
In this position, you will manage day-to-day store activity by handling receipt, storage, inventory tracking, and distribution of supplies and materials used in hotel operations.
Key duties
- Accept incoming deliveries, examine them carefully, and confirm they match the purchase order and delivery paperwork.
- Arrange inventory in an orderly and compliant manner following hotel storage standards.
- Keep stock records current and record all movement of items in the inventory system.
- Help carry out periodic stock counts and inventory checks.
- Distribute supplies and materials to departments based on approved requests.
- Track inventory levels and flag items that are running low so replenishment can be planned in time.
- Make sure all goods are correctly labeled, handled, and stored.
- Keep the store space clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Assist with setting up the store and preparing inventory ahead of opening.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse work, preferably in a hotel setting. A solid understanding of stock control and inventory processes is important, along with the ability to keep documentation accurate and up to date. The role also calls for strong organization, good time management, close attention to detail, and the ability to stay effective in a busy, fast-moving environment. Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent English are also required.
Additional information
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Saudi Arabia. The position is for a pre-opening hotel environment, so readiness to support setup and launch activities is essential.
