Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt assistance at registers and support customers by helping with carry-outs and carry-ins while verifying purchase receipts.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties including restroom upkeep, proper chemical handling with correct disposal methods, and operate power equipment safely with completed inspection reports.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency guidelines, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout procedures, and bloodborne pathogen precautions.
• Maintain accurate Cart Retrieval Logs at the Customer Service Desk.
• Promote and contribute to a workplace environment that is safe, clean, and free of hazards in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure personal safety by wearing required protective gear such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests for visibility during cart collection.
• Conduct safety sweeps as required to maintain compliance with safety standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75, with this rate also applicable in French-speaking contexts.
