Role overview
As a Stock and Back Office Executive, you will be responsible for keeping merchandise well stocked, maintaining an orderly sales floor, and helping create a shopping environment that is both inviting and safe. The role also supports day-to-day store operations, inventory handling, customer service, and coordination with team members.
Key responsibilities
- Place merchandise on shelves and keep the sales area organized, clean, and safe for customers and staff.
- Carry out established service and operational tasks, including handling routine decisions and subprocesses to keep operations running smoothly.
- Assist teammates with everyday inventory work and follow standard procedures consistently.
- Guide and support colleagues in handling non-routine transactions, replenishing stock, arranging merchandise, and maintaining effective shelf presentation.
- Handle customer service activities, including more complex or unusual questions and service situations.
- Help plan work schedules, coordinate with support functions, and allocate short-term tasks so work is completed on time.
- Complete operational duties in line with approved methods, making required adjustments to settings or parameters to meet performance expectations.
- Follow all mandatory work procedures, including personal protective equipment requirements, to protect people and the workplace.
- Manage priorities to meet quality and timeliness targets while using performance tools to improve your own effectiveness.
Qualifications and experience
