Job description

Role overview

As the Marketing & Communication Director for UK & Ireland, you will shape and activate the brand’s local success by translating global direction and regional priorities into market-relevant action. In this legacy and image-led market, your work will help strengthen brand equity, raise awareness, and support sustainable sales performance across the full product mix.

Local marketing leadership

  • Create a three-year market action plan in partnership with the region and local executive committee, then ensure it is implemented in line with brand standards, regional ambitions, and the realities of the local market.

Brand communication excellence

  • Orchestrate end-to-end initiatives that elevate desirability and reinforce the brand’s equity in the market.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with leading media contacts and look for opportunities to secure high-profile visibility for the brand and its creations, working with headquarters and regional teams.
  • Bring the Maison’s image and guidelines to life through media planning, press activity, public relations, ambassadorships, and events.
  • Own the planning, management, and monitoring of the local advertising and promotion investment budget, working closely with regional communication teams.

Performance and market insight

  • Monitor brand awareness and perception, interpret the findings, and put corrective measures in place when needed to keep performance on track.
  • Review competitive intelligence and survey results to anticipate competitor moves and build proactive responses that help preserve a strong market position.

Product portfolio performance

  • Direct execution of local product plans so sales objectives are met across categories and channels, including launches.
  • Support boutiques and specialist partners with effective launch activation, strong in-store presence, compelling visual merchandising, and tailored training to improve category results.
  • Work with local and regional operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels across retail and wholesale and unlock maximum sales potential.

Leadership and team development

  • Lead, motivate, and grow the Marketing & Communication team.
  • Foster creativity, ownership, and high standards while identifying and developing strong talent in line with the Maison’s culture and values.
  • Consistently communicate the brand vision, strategy, and values to keep the team engaged and aligned.
  • Set annual objectives for team members and oversee performance management.
  • Partner with the learning and development team to anticipate and address team capability needs.

Candidate profile

You should be a highly accomplished marketing and communications leader with a strong record of driving measurable business results. The role calls for more than 15 years of experience, including international management exposure, along with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.

The ideal candidate is agile, inspiring, customer-centric, and commercially minded, with the leadership presence to build and energize high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal skills, an excellent command of English, and a genuine commitment to excellence are essential.

What the organisation offers

You will join a community built on responsibility, collaboration, and shared purpose. The environment values different perspectives, respects cultural diversity, and encourages innovation through inclusion and collective spirit.

The role offers a stimulating setting for career development and the chance to contribute your own perspective to a heritage of creativity. Achievements of every size are recognised, and the culture is designed to build meaningful connections, appreciation, and a strong sense of belonging.

Recruitment process

  • Introductory screening with the talent team
  • Discussion with the hiring manager
  • Interview with the HR manager
