Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Standard & Compliance Manager at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) to oversee compliance across inflight meals, lounges, and cafeterias. This position demands ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards, enhancing operational quality, and automating audit and compliance systems to streamline processes and provide leadership with real-time insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a centralized digital system for tracking all internal audit findings and their resolution timelines.
  • Automate operational standards audit checklists to enable live tracking and transparency.
  • Conduct both planned and surprise audits across all operational areas to verify compliance with QACC and airline-specific standards.
  • Create detailed compliance and risk dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and management reviews.
  • Lead the digital transition of QACC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency, version control, and uniformity across functions.
  • Systematically update SOPs based on audit outcomes, operational feedback, and industry best practices.
  • Streamline documentation processes to boost efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Implement a digital training platform ensuring all employees complete ongoing education on updated SOPs.
  • Design a centralized dashboard for real-time monitoring of compliance scores, audits, training progress, and quality metrics.
  • Generate analytical reports highlighting compliance trends, performance improvements, and accountability.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic business reviews.
  • Establish effective feedback channels for operational teams to report compliance concerns and receive prompt support.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture by linking compliance findings to SOP and operational enhancements.
  • Perform trend analysis on audits, customer feedback, and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration between compliance and quality control teams to optimize production efficiency and close process gaps.
  • Champion a culture emphasizing quality and accountability by ensuring timely resolution of compliance issues.
  • Monitor customer complaints, airline audit feedback, and quality reports to inform improvements.
  • Develop a digital training management system tracking staff certifications, renewals, and course completions.
  • Ensure comprehensive training programs for ramp operations, including safety and security compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Business Analytics, Process Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within airline catering, hospitality, food safety, quality assurance, or compliance management.
  • Proven expertise in staff training on compliance, food safety, and hygiene best practices.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • Capability to design and enforce SOPs for standardized operational processes.
  • Strong analytical aptitude coupled with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of process improvement techniques such as Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and other digital tools for compliance tracking, KPI monitoring, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of QACC operational requirements is advantageous.
