About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the ENT department at Gouda Ramesh ENT Hospital located in Warangal, Telangana. This role involves providing compassionate, safe, and effective nursing care across the OPD, operation theatre, and inpatient wards, ensuring patient well-being throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs in the OPD.
- Prepare patients for ENT examinations and assist doctors during minor procedures such as endoscopy, ear cleaning, nasal packing, and foreign body removal.
- Support surgeons during ENT operations by preparing the operation theatre, handling instruments, maintaining aseptic techniques, and coordinating with anesthesia staff.
- Observe and manage post-operative patients in the ward, administer prescribed medications, maintain IV lines and dressings, and identify potential complications.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols including proper sterilization and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Maintain comprehensive nursing documentation including admission, discharge, and procedure records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring patient confidentiality and respectful care at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).
- Valid registration with the Nursing Council.
- Fresh graduates or experienced nurses are welcome to apply; prior experience in ENT or operation theatre is advantageous.
