Beechfield Care Group is hiring a Staff Nurse for Glengara Park Nursing Home in Glasthule, Dublin. The role involves taking responsibility for resident care within a long-established nursing home group operating across Dublin, Carlow, Meath, Westmeath and Kildare. What the role involves

The Staff Nurse will work alongside the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing to help maintain consistently high standards of care. A strong understanding of HIQA requirements is essential, as quality of care is a key part of the role. The successful candidate should be energetic, motivated and committed to person-centred care, with the ability to assess, plan, deliver and review resident care in line with professional and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support high standards of resident care.
  • Supervise care staff and nursing staff on a day-to-day basis.
  • Help organise and coordinate resident activities.
  • Ensure daily work is aligned with HIQA regulations and care standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Current registration with NMBI.
  • Strong clinical, leadership and organisational capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good judgement and sound decision-making skills.
  • Interest in caring for older adults.
