  • Assist with accounting tasks connected to the firm’s lobbying compliance offering.
  • Keep financial files well organized, including invoices, receipts, and other supporting records needed for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Follow internal financial procedures and ensure work remains aligned with company policies and industry expectations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders so financial information stays consistent with organizational goals.
  • Manage billing activities, ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time, and resolve payment discrepancies when they arise.
  • Provide financial, administrative, and operational help to leadership on special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical thinking.
  • The ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and efficient manner in writing.
  • Proven experience handling multiple tasks and delivering projects on time.
  • A strong ethical approach, sound judgment, and the ability to protect sensitive information.
  • Excellent accuracy and a track record of producing work with minimal errors.
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Good organizational flexibility and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Experience

  • Comfort using Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, especially Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Prior exposure to QuickBooks, DocuSign, and Trello.

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage options for employees and families, including an HSA option.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for maternity or paternity.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with both traditional and Roth options.
  • Access to flexible spending accounts and commuting accounts.
  • Company-paid basic life insurance of $50,000, along with long-term and short-term disability coverage.
  • Employer-paid access to a range of wellness and support resources, including phone counseling, legal guidance, and related services.
