Job description

About the Company

Beast Industries is a media and entertainment company built by Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast. The business has grown well beyond YouTube into a wide-ranging portfolio that spans digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and new business ventures. Its mission is to entertain, motivate, and drive meaningful social impact through innovative storytelling and bold execution.

The company culture is centered on creativity, innovation, and philanthropy, with a focus on building memorable experiences and shaping a legacy that inspires future generations.

Role Overview

MrBeast is hiring a Senior Director of Marketing Technology to design and lead a modern, AI-first MarTech ecosystem that supports a massive audience and a growing portfolio of consumer businesses. This role is not about maintaining an existing stack; it is about creating the systems, standards, and operating model that power audience acquisition, engagement, growth, and measurement at scale.

The position is based in the Bay Area with a preference for local candidates, and New York is considered as a secondary location. The role follows a hybrid model with three in-office days each week.

Key Objectives

You will take full ownership of the strategy, architecture, and day-to-day operation of the company’s marketing technology landscape. The work includes building a scalable and well-governed architecture for acquisition, recommendations, and measurement across channels, as well as creating a privacy-conscious customer data foundation that supports deeper audience insight and stronger customer experiences through direct systems and partner integrations.

You will also lead the roadmap for marketing operations, automation, and measurement, including experimentation and the adoption of new capabilities that improve campaign execution, data workflows, and reporting.

What You Will Do

  • Set the technical direction, governance approach, and initial team structure for the marketing technology function.
  • Work closely with leaders across Marketing, IT, Data, Revenue Operations, and Product to align priorities and execution plans.
  • Own the roadmap for systems used at scale, guiding tools and platforms from evaluation through implementation and adoption with speed and urgency.
  • Recruit, develop, and scale a strong team spanning marketing operations, automation, customer data, and platform administration.
  • Establish AI-enabled tooling, automation, and modern data practices as standard operating expectations.
  • Lead customer data strategy, including segmentation, identity resolution, audience activation, and measurement design.

Who This Role Is For

This opportunity is suited to an AI-forward marketing technology leader who already uses AI to increase output and has a clear perspective on how it should evolve next. The ideal candidate has deep experience operating enterprise MarTech platforms at scale, while still staying hands-on and practical in execution.

It also calls for a leader who has delivered measurable business growth through marketing technology, can thrive in ambiguity, can influence senior stakeholders with differing opinions, and is recognized for attracting and developing strong talent.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, or digital transformation.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing managers and cross-functional teams in complex enterprise settings.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and scaling enterprise marketing platforms and ecosystems such as Braze, Salesforce, CDPs, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong ability to influence executives and lead company-wide change.
  • Advantageous experience includes AI-driven marketing transformation or work across global and multi-brand environments.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a paid full-time role with a competitive salary and a highly competitive equity package intended for a foundational hire.

  • Competitive salary
  • Equity package
  • Medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Company contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
  • 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor company matching
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Paid company holidays
  • Company-provided technology package
  • Relocation support where applicable, including travel and company-provided housing for the first 90 days

Work Arrangement

The role is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week in office in either the Bay Area or New York.
