Role overview

Join the LA Brand Marketing group as a Sportswear Brand Marketing Specialist II, supporting the Los Angeles market. In this position, you will report to the LA Sportswear Brand Marketing Senior Manager and collaborate with teams across North America Brand Marketing, as well as LA partners in Energy, Basketball, Running, Sports, and Training. You will also work closely with Marketplace, Digital, Communications, and Retail Brand teams to shape connected consumer experiences.

This role also involves building and maintaining relationships with agency partners, community organizations, creators, and cultural voices that help express Sportswear in Los Angeles.

What you will do

  • Help shape and execute seasonal Sportswear brand plans, ensuring they align with North America priorities while staying relevant to the Los Angeles consumer.
  • Coordinate with LA teams across Basketball, Running, Soccer, Training, Football, Energy, Retail, Digital, and Communications to deliver campaigns on schedule and manage project workflows.
  • Support the identification and management of community, creator, athlete, and organization partnerships that reflect Sportswear values and strengthen storytelling.
  • Collect and organize insights from LA youth culture, sport-style communities, and market trends, then share those learnings with North America and the wider LA Brand Marketing team.
  • Assist with product seeding, sourcing, and allocation so key Sportswear moments have the right product support.
  • Contribute to campaign development, storytelling, and local activations designed to connect with LA Sportswear consumers.
  • Brief and coordinate with external agencies, making sure goals, timing, and creative direction are clearly understood.
  • Maintain trackers, timelines, budgets, recaps, and workflow tools to keep execution efficient, accurate, and high quality.

Who you will work with

You will be part of the LA Brand Marketing team and report to the LA Sportswear Brand Marketing Senior Manager. The role requires close partnership with North America Brand Marketing and several LA offense teams, along with external partners and community stakeholders.

What you bring

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing, brand management, or cultural marketing, ideally with exposure to sport, fashion, streetwear, or youth culture.
  • Strong awareness of Los Angeles youth culture, sport-style communities, and the broader creative landscape across fashion, streetwear, art, design, and music.
  • Hands-on experience supporting marketing campaigns from planning through delivery, with examples of meeting objectives and KPIs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
  • Comfort managing several priorities at once and adjusting quickly when plans change.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.
  • Ability to gather consumer insights and turn them into stronger brand strategies.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and execution quality.
  • Genuine interest in sport, style, creativity, and how they shape youth identity.
  • Alignment with Nike’s Maxims and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is estimated between 71,100 and 140,700, depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
