About the Role

Join as a Sports Tour Director with WorldStrides Sports and experience a role that combines travel, leadership, and sport. This position offers the opportunity to journey to remarkable locations across Europe and the UK, representing a leading educational and sports travel provider. You will collaborate with passionate coaches, athletes, and educators to create meaningful group travel experiences that promote sport, cultural exchange, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary onsite leader and contact for sports travel groups throughout their entire tour.
Oversee and manage travel logistics including airport arrivals, hotel check-ins, scheduled training, matches, and sightseeing activities.
Ensure adherence to the itinerary while being flexible to make necessary adjustments.
Communicate clearly and provide leadership and problem-solving support during the tours.
Represent the organization professionally and energetically while ensuring group safety and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

A strong passion for football, travel, and youth development.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to maintain composure and focus on solutions when facing challenges.
Competent in managing group logistics and collaborating with various suppliers and team members.
Available for travel assignments lasting up to nine consecutive days, including locations across the UK and internationally.

Additional Information

Contract Type: Zero hours/flexible contract.
Compensation: Up to £1100 weekly, depending on tour assignments.
Locations Include: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Amsterdam.
Tour Duration: Up to nine days per assignment.
Sports Involved: Primarily Football, also Tennis, Rugby, Lacrosse, and Swimming.
Availability: The role is seasonal with primary tours in Spring and Summer 2027.
