Sports Partnerships & Community Manager (Keralites Only)

Role Overview

Join Cosmos Sports as a Sports Partnerships & Community Manager dedicated to fostering sports engagement across Kerala. The role requires advancing relationships with educational institutions, clubs, fitness centers, corporate entities, and local communities to promote sports participation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic alliances with schools, colleges, universities, sports academies, clubs, fitness centers, corporates, resident associations, and community groups.
• Build a comprehensive network of athletes, coaches, sports fans, influencers, event organizers, and sports bodies.
• Represent Cosmos Sports at various sporting and community events, educational forums, and corporate gatherings.
• Design and implement sports events including tournaments, workshops, leagues, fitness challenges, outreach programs, and brand activations that enhance engagement and brand exposure.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Lead customer acquisition campaigns aimed at increasing store traffic, generating leads, and creating business prospects.
• Achieve set objectives relating to partnerships, event attendance, community expansion, customer engagement, and sales growth.
• Identify new market trends, sports opportunities, and community demands to support continuous business development.
• Harness community engagement to convert initiatives into tangible sales and customer acquisitions.
• Utilize social media, influencer relationships, and digital platforms for community marketing to boost brand presence in Kerala.
• Develop targeted outreach plans to foster active sports communities and maintain a strong contact database.
• Measure and analyze the impact of events, partnerships, and campaigns to refine strategies and maximize results.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience with leading sports brands like Decathlon, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Skechers is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sports management, marketing, event coordination, community outreach, business development, or customer acquisition roles; fresh graduates with leadership roles in sports or community groups are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated passion for sports and promoting active lifestyles with active participation at school, college, club, or higher levels.
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with excellent planning, execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable taking ownership of targets in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Openness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

This role is based in Kochi, India, with Cosmos Sports operating 10 locations in Kerala and 3 in Dubai. The company has been a leader since 1990 in providing quality sports goods for various disciplines including football, tennis, cricket, golf, basketball, running, cycling, yoga, swimming, and athletics.
