Role summary

This position sits within the Marketing Business Unit and supports a busy treasury environment linked to financial trading activity. The role covers core treasury operations such as cash settlement, FX trade checks, margin and collateral handling, and coordination with banks. You will partner with internal teams and banking contacts to keep transactions running smoothly, strengthen controls, support risk management, and contribute to process enhancements and treasury projects. It is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving setting, operational accuracy, problem-solving, and working with stakeholders across different functions.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out cash transfers and treasury settlements in a timely and controlled manner.
• Work with banks on operational matters and keep internal stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
• Create and maintain bank account static data in the appropriate systems, including access-rights setup and review.
• Keep Standard Settlement Instructions documents current.
• Manage bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts and handling periodic KYC reviews with banks.
• Ensure authorised risk mandates and any marketing entity name changes are updated accurately and quickly with banking partners.
• Validate and confirm FX trades so that risk reporting and settlement inputs remain correct.
• Set up intercompany loans and deposits with the Group accurately.
• Complete monthly reconciliations for intercompany interest rates and related transactions.
• Administer margin and settlement processes for trading positions with clearing partners and other counterparties.
• Ensure margin payments and refunds are processed promptly once P&L has been validated by the Risk Reporting team.
• Handle settlement activities for financial trades.
• Support projects for the Marketing function, provide a treasury operations perspective to Group initiatives, and assist with user acceptance testing and post-go-live transition activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a treasury environment.
• Hands-on experience managing banking relationships.
• Experience with trade confirmation and settlement workflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different organisational levels.
• Strong results orientation with the ability to hold self and others accountable for delivery.
• Capability to understand multiple stakeholder viewpoints and influence or challenge peers and senior managers constructively.
