Role Overview

The QC Bioanalytical Specialist role at our Cruiserath Biologics site involves supporting laboratory operations by testing samples and performing duties aligned with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The position reports to the QC Bioanalytical Manager and is a permanent, full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating, issuing, and maintaining laboratory documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine data analyses, contribute to investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results, carry out trending analyses, and prepare investigation reports.
  • Ensure precise documentation of laboratory activities.
  • Execute batch release testing and support technical transfers and co-validation processes.
  • Contribute to qualification of laboratory instruments and conduct instrument performance checks and calibrations.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and support assay data review demonstrating proficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possessing 1 to 2 years of experience with analytical techniques such as aseptic methods, cell culture, cell-based bioassays, and ELISA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry or a closely related scientific discipline is required.
  • Ability to independently perform assays and recognize abnormal trends or results is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to prioritize tasks from multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the aptitude to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
