This opportunity is with a large global organization based in Hyderabad, India.
Role Overview
The role focuses on helping manufacturing teams modernize and standardize site capabilities through manufacturing systems, automation, and performance-focused digital solutions. The position requires strong knowledge of manufacturing technology in regulated environments, with an emphasis on scalable, reusable approaches across multiple sites.
What You Will Do
- Assist in rolling out and transitioning manufacturing capabilities at plant locations, with work spanning MES standardization, automated documentation, and performance management tools.
- Act as a subject matter resource for manufacturing systems and process design, including MES life cycle practices, scheduling and planning, sensing/data integration, digital control tower concepts, and KPI frameworks.
- Convert manufacturing workflows into structured functional requirements and establish design principles that support reusable, scalable solutions.
- Evaluate solution fit against GxP expectations, covering validation, documentation, data integrity, and audit-readiness requirements.
- Carry out IVI life cycle work from intake and evaluation through MVP, pilot, and scale stages, while supporting testing, user validation, and deployment for use across multiple sites.
Required Experience and Knowledge
- 8 to 13 years of experience in manufacturing systems, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, or similar technical functions.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and hands-on exposure to manufacturing technology initiatives.
- Experience with IIoT and digital transformation efforts that support connected, data-driven manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems, including MES/MBR design and life cycle concepts.
- Familiarity with digital twin technologies and GxP compliance/validation principles, including data integrity and auditability.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience with Werum PAS-X or comparable electronic batch record or MES-related platforms.
- Exposure to Werum PAS.
Education
