Specialist Hygiene Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our team based in Bristol, serving Plymouth, Exeter, and nearby areas. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. This opportunity allows you to manage your schedule independently while addressing unique hygiene challenges directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of hygiene cleaning services such as biohazard remediation, flood water damage cleanup, infection control, police and prison cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime scene cleaning, factory and high-level cleaning, and silo cleaning with full training.
• Operate responsively in a dynamic work environment where weekly tasks may vary.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, typically twice quarterly.
• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Hold a full UK driving license with over two years held and no more than six penalty points.
• Be self-driven, dependable, and proactive in your approach.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer support.
• Show flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules as business needs dictate.
• Be physically capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if required for your specific role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive starting salary of £26,655 annually with expected earnings between £30,000 and £38,000 including bonuses and commissions.

• Relocation support up to £5,000 for candidates relocating more than two hours away.
• Full-time schedule Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with potential for 48 hours and increased salary.
