About the Company and Role

We are seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our Hull depot to ensure quality and safety in our hire products.
Job Responsibilities
The Test and Run Technician will have a dynamic and demanding role at the depot involving basic electrical and operational testing of hire products. You will be responsible for servicing, cleaning, and preparing returned items to be safe, reliable, and presentable before they go out to customers again. This position offers a solid path to advance a career in engineering through hands-on experience and award-winning in-house training programs.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, specifically 12/24 volt circuits.
- Fundamental mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication talents.
- Background in the hire industry or relevant engineering field is advantageous.
- Commitment to supporting the business unit in achieving the ESG Strategy named Decade to Deliver.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Workdays: Monday to Friday
- Work hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 42 hours per week
- Salary: £29,572 per year, prorated as applicable
