Role overview
The team is hiring a DC Specialist to support the growth of tMart, the region’s cloud-store grocery model that focuses on rapid delivery at hypermarket prices. The role is centered on strengthening distribution center operations and improving the performance of the mid-mile flow between distribution centers and stores.
Key responsibilities
- Track distribution center performance closely and build a strong understanding of the daily operational issues.
- Own end-to-end distribution center operations, including the movement from DC to stores and from stores back to DC.
- Identify ways to raise operational efficiency by improving processes or introducing automation where useful.
- Build a solid working knowledge of the MSD system and apply it effectively in tMart DC operations.
- Implement improvement plans in partnership with the country DC team.
- Work closely with the DC, supply chain, and store teams to keep operations aligned.
- Create SLAs and KPI targets and help local teams work toward them.
- Develop practical dashboards together with the analytics team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least 5 years of experience in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment. The role calls for someone highly organized, strongly process-oriented, and comfortable handling a heavy workload by setting priorities well.
A strong analytical mindset is important, along with advanced ability in GSheet, MS Excel, and Data Studio. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability, confident written and verbal communication across multiple stakeholders, and a solid understanding of WMS systems. Experience with MSD is considered an added advantage.
