Position Overview
- Identify and assess ongoing public affairs opportunities and significant regulatory developments.
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with UAE government and regulatory bodies to clearly communicate company priorities and roles.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of public affairs strategies throughout the seven emirates, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to drive current projects and launch new initiatives.
- Create content and presentations, organize events and meetings, ensuring alignment with communications and marketing teams, including preparing newsletters for authorities.
- Assist in risk mitigation efforts, provide online and on-ground support, and document incidents effectively.
- Collaborate across functions to align business objectives with policy goals, sustainability imperatives, and community engagement efforts.
- Manage corporate responsibility projects involving various departments such as commercial, operations, finance, legal, and marketing communications.
- Ensure corporate responsibility and sustainability goals adhere to international standards and comply with UAE government regulations.
- Evaluate the social impact of initiatives and compile reports on non-financial performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Public Affairs; experience in Communications or Corporate Responsibility is advantageous.
- Background in agency settings and/or dynamic corporate environments with project management expertise.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, or Communications.
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Strong results orientation and data-driven approach demonstrated through successful public affairs or corporate responsibility campaigns.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and dedicated with excellent accuracy.
- Collaborative with agility to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills capable of handling several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, exhibiting high emotional intelligence and professionalism.
