Role overview
This position sits within Red Hat’s Technology Sales & Adoption organization and focuses on helping customers get faster value from Red Hat technologies while improving adoption outcomes. The role is centered on an engagement-led delivery approach and supports customers working with platforms such as OpenShift, whether deployed on premises or through major cloud hyperscalers, as well as Ansible.
You will help customers integrate Red Hat solutions into their enterprise environments, support application workload migration, and work across teams to uncover and address technical as well as organizational barriers to adoption.
What you will do
- Plan, carry out, and document technical customer engagements aligned to Success Plan initiatives that drive greater use and consumption of Red Hat products.
- Review customer environments and application landscapes to confirm they are designed and operated in line with Red Hat best practices.
- Spot recurring technical adoption obstacles across customers and translate them into shared patterns and sales-play materials.
- Act as the customer advocate by bringing forward feedback, practical insights, and proven approaches to help product teams remove adoption roadblocks.
- Stay informed about developments across Red Hat’s ecosystem and broader technology landscape, taking a proactive and inquisitive approach.
Required background and capabilities
- Proven ability to lead consultative, customer-facing engagements and deliver outcomes.
- Strong exposure to enterprise software and SaaS from a development, engineering, support, or QA standpoint.
- Hands-on familiarity with DevOps and automation tooling such as Ansible, CI tools, and Git, along with scripting experience in Python or similar tools.
- Deep practical knowledge of migrating applications and building solutions on container platforms.
- Strong experience creating and deploying applications through modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms such as OpenShift.
- Clear verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas in a simple and concise way.
- Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Experience defining goals, gathering requirements, and shaping customer outcomes into an actionable plan of work.
- Readiness to travel within the region to meet customers and partners and attend conferences and related events.
