Special Agent with Psychology/Counseling Expertise

Position Overview

This role involves utilizing your background in psychology and counseling to transition into a federal law enforcement career as an FBI special agent. You will apply your analytical skills and knowledge to investigate serious crimes impacting national security, including cyberattacks, terrorism, and fraud, supporting efforts to protect public safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct investigations into possible violations of federal laws, including threats related to cybersecurity and public safety.
• Exercise sound judgment and adaptability to meet the complex demands of investigations.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with various law enforcement entities at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
• Maintain physical fitness standards required to effectively perform law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed for law enforcement activities.
• Meet all FBI employment eligibility criteria.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. college or university, preferably in psychology, social work, counseling, or related fields.
• Provide official college transcripts for education verification.

Compensation and Benefits
