Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out investigations involving potential federal law violations, cybersecurity, and public safety concerns.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet the diverse demands of investigative work.
• Establish and sustain cooperative relationships with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
• Maintain physical fitness standards essential for performing law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Capable of obtaining a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
• Willingness to travel as the job requires.
• Meet the FBI’s employment eligibility criteria.
• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited institution, ideally in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

Your background in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, behavioral analysis, early childhood education, or applied behavioral analysis forms a foundation that translates into valuable skills for FBI investigations. You'll shift from interpreting complex human behaviors to analyzing data patterns as evidence, exercising leadership in critical decision-making, and owning key aspects of investigations.

Compensation and Additional Information
