Application of Psychology and Counseling Background

Your experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, behavioral and applied behavioral analysis, and early childhood education provides a strong foundation in analyzing complex situations and information. Major Duties

• Plan and execute investigations involving potential breaches of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and threats to public safety.
• Demonstrate judgment, adaptability, and creativity to meet the demands of investigative work.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with law enforcement agencies across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
• Maintain physical fitness standards required for law enforcement operations.

Key Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Eligibility to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel when needed.

Education Requirements

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline. Submission of official college transcripts is required for verification.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $93,749 to $133,200, aligned with base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
