Overview

This position offers legal professionals an opportunity to transition their background into a challenging role as a Special Agent with the FBI. Beyond utilizing your legal research skills, you will develop expertise through involvement in critical investigations addressing national security, cybercrime, terrorism, fraud, and other emerging threats. You will work alongside elite professionals in a dynamic environment that values critical thinking, adaptability, and collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute investigations into possible federal law violations, focusing on cybersecurity and public safety.
  • Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and flexibility to meet investigative needs.
  • Establish and sustain effective working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain physical fitness levels necessary to fulfill law enforcement responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must be capable of obtaining a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel as the job requires.

Educational Credentials

A bachelor's degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a U.S. accredited institution is mandatory, preferably in law, legal studies, or closely related disciplines. Verification through submission of official college transcripts is required.
