Job Overview
This role invites healthcare professionals to leverage their medical knowledge in a dynamic law enforcement career as an FBI Special Agent. This position bridges clinical experience with investigative duties, involving work on cases that encompass counterterrorism, cyber security, fraud, and other threats to national security. Specialists will enhance their skills through rigorous training and collaboration with elite teams, accessing advanced technology and real-world investigative challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage investigations into potential violations of federal laws including cybersecurity and public safety threats.
- Use critical judgment and flexibility to meet complex investigative objectives.
- Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with federal, state, tribal, local, territorial, and international enforcement agencies.
- Maintain physical fitness standards essential for law enforcement activities.
Education & Eligibility
- Applicants must hold at least a bachelor's degree from a U.S. accredited institution, preferably in medical, health, public safety, or a related discipline, with official transcripts provided for verification.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for assignments.
- Must fulfill FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $93,749 to $133,200 per year, adjusted by base pay, locality, and availability pay.
