Job Overview
This role invites health care professionals to transition into the role of FBI Special Agent, leveraging medical expertise to tackle complex national security challenges. This position is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into possible violations of federal laws, including areas of cybersecurity and public safety.
- Apply critical thinking, adaptability, and resourcefulness to meet diverse investigative needs.
- Establish and sustain productive partnerships with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of law enforcement duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Capability to secure a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Willingness to travel as job demands.
- Fulfillment of FBI Employment Eligibility criteria.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred in medicine, health, public safety, or related fields from an accredited U.S. institution.
- All academic credentials must be verified with official transcripts.
Compensation
Starting salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200, subject to base pay, geographic locality adjustments, and availability pay.
