Job Overview
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a healthcare or medical background to transition into a federal law enforcement role as a special agent. The FBI seeks candidates who can apply their analytical skills, data interpretation abilities, and problem-solving expertise to safeguard national security by investigating violent crimes, cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and other public safety risks.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations involving violations of federal laws, including those related to cybersecurity and public safety.
- Utilize judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to handle complex investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relations with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness to meet law enforcement readiness standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Eligible to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for duty requirements.
- Must comply with FBI employment eligibility standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required; degrees in medical, health, public safety, or related disciplines from an accredited U.S. institution are preferred. Verification through official transcripts is mandatory.
