About the Role

Leverage your accounting experience to embark on a career as an FBI Special Agent. You will apply and enhance your accounting and financial analysis skills in criminal investigations involving cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and other complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute investigations into potential breaches of federal law, focusing on cybersecurity and public safety issues.
  • Apply sound judgment, creativity, and adaptability to meet demanding investigative needs.
  • Establish and nurture cooperative relationships with law enforcement agencies at every level, including federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international partners.
  • Maintain physical fitness standards necessary for active law enforcement duties.

Essential Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is required.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as the job demands.
  • Fulfillment of all FBI Employment Eligibility criteria.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in accounting or related fields such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Verification of academic credentials through official transcripts is compulsory.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $93,749 and $133,200 annually, adjusted based on base pay, locality, and availability premiums.
