Role Overview
Joining as a Founding Operations Lead, you will collaborate closely with company founders to oversee and enhance daily operational functions. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to address immediate operational challenges and simultaneously develop scalable systems and processes supporting Sparrow's growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage customer claims and operational workflows, including handling complex cases, escalations, and customer communications
- Conduct thorough reviews, submissions, and processing of claims
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance metrics
- Oversee relationships with vendors involved in operational processes
- Detect inefficient or repetitive procedures and partner with engineering teams to implement automation solutions
- Lead critical projects that may span multiple domains or fall outside established functions
Candidate Profile
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ownership responsibilities
- Exceptional judgment paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including direct engagement with customers
- Process-oriented mindset focused on enhancing inefficient systems
- Holds a bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, legal studies, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech or Legal Tech sectors
- Proficiency in SQL or comparable data analysis tools
- At least one year of startup experience
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary ranging between $100,000 and $120,000
- Equity stake of 0.5% to 0.75%
