Position Overview
This role offers a unique chance for individuals with an accounting background to transition into a Special Agent position at the FBI. Beyond utilizing your finance skills, you'll have opportunities to develop expert investigative and analytical abilities while contributing to national security efforts involving threats such as cyberattacks, terrorism, and fraud.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute investigations related to potential breaches of federal laws, particularly focusing on cybersecurity and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, creativity, and adaptability to address diverse investigative challenges.
- Develop and sustain productive collaborations with enforcement agencies across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness necessary to fulfill demanding law enforcement functions.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Eligibility to secure Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
- Fulfillment of FBI employment criteria.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. university, ideally in accounting or related fields such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.
