Overview
This unique opportunity invites individuals with an accounting background to transition into a Special Agent role at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Beyond applying your finance expertise, you will enhance your skills through intensive training and hands-on investigative responsibilities focused on national security and public safety challenges.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage investigations involving potential breaches of federal laws, cybersecurity threats, and public safety incidents.
- Employ critical judgment, adaptability, and innovative approaches to handle complex investigative demands.
- Foster and sustain cooperative relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement organizations.
- Maintain the necessary physical fitness to fulfill law enforcement operational requirements effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- United States citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as per assignment needs.
- Meet the FBI's employment eligibility standards.
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in accounting or a closely related discipline such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, from an accredited U.S. institution.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $93,749 and $133,200 annually, depending on the candidate’s base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
