Overview

This role offers a unique chance to transition your accounting or finance background into a career as a Special Agent with the FBI. Beyond leveraging your financial knowledge, you'll enhance critical thinking, rapid adaptation, and teamwork skills while working alongside top-tier professionals addressing national security concerns such as cyber threats, terrorism, and fraud.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement investigative strategies concerning potential violations of federal laws, including cybersecurity and public safety matters.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and ingenuity in managing complex investigative scenarios.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with a broad network of law enforcement entities at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of law enforcement activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as assignments require.
  • Fulfill FBI employment eligibility criteria.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably in accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting, with verified transcripts.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $93,749 and $133,200 annually, adjusted for base, locality, and availability pay.
