Job Overview

We are looking to fill one vacancy in either Melbourne (Laverton Area) or Brisbane (Yatala Area) for the role of Spare Parts & Stores Coordinator. This position involves responding efficiently to spare parts inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is key in building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving customer support, and enhancing parts sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address spare parts inquiries promptly and provide excellent customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to boost customer satisfaction and value.
  • Prepare quotations and manage coordination of deliveries and returns efficiently.
  • Actively engage with customers to grow parts sales and improve service offerings.
  • Oversee stock control including ensuring accuracy, proper storage, and quality inspections.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Pick, pack, load, and unload trucks, managing inventory flow.
  • Carry out yard duties which require moderate lifting between 10-20kg.
  • Operate counterbalance forklifts and other equipment safely and competently.
  • Handle internal and external communications via email and other correspondence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in spare parts, automotive, or heavy equipment sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly to business needs.
  • Proactive and sales-oriented with a commitment to outstanding service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster long-term client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Outlook.
  • Eagerness to learn with product training provided on the job.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and hands-on logistics tasks.
  • Holds a forklift license with at least 2 years of experience operating (valid HRWL mandatory).
  • Team player who contributes positively to team culture.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Dependable with a strong commitment to punctuality.
  • Skilled in maintaining precise records.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
