Role Overview
As a Spa Therapist at this prestigious Fairmont Spa, you will provide exceptional spa experiences through professional, customized treatments. Your role includes delivering various massages and body therapies, maintaining a pristine service environment, and ensuring each guest receives attentive care that enhances their visit.
Responsibilities
- Administer all massage and body treatments, including add-ons, following established protocols.
- Identify and respond to guest needs with suitable treatment options and home care advice.
- Maintain a warm, gracious, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Uphold the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and visual presentation within the spa.
- Assist with managing linen stocks, laundry duties, and general spa upkeep.
- Oversee treatment room inventory and perform other organizational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in delivering facials, massage, and body treatments, preferably in a luxury spa setting.
- Certification from an accredited Massage Therapy school.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
- Physical ability to meet job demands, including prolonged standing and walking, occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, as well as navigating stairs and ramps.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, nights, and other shifts as required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of $17.22 plus 18% gratuities and commission.
- A $500 signing bonus granted after 30 days of employment, paid with the first paycheck.
