Role Overview

This position is for a Spa Therapist who can provide high-quality wellness and beauty treatments in a luxury hotel spa setting. The role calls for warm, personalized service, strong technical ability, and consistent attention to comfort, privacy, hygiene, and presentation.

The selected candidate will contribute to a premium guest journey by delivering treatments professionally, recommending suitable services, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the spa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored spa treatments that match the service standards of a luxury hospitality brand.
  • Carry out different therapies such as massages, facials, body scrubs, body wraps, and wellness treatments following approved procedures.
  • Speak with guests before treatment to understand their preferences, needs, and any relevant limitations or sensitivities.
  • Ensure each guest feels comfortable, respected, and well cared for throughout the appointment.
  • Keep treatment rooms, tools, and spa spaces clean, orderly, hygienic, and visually polished.
  • Set up rooms with the proper linens, supplies, and amenities before each session.
  • Suggest spa services, wellness offerings, and retail products in a personalized and professional way.
  • Stay informed about spa products, service offerings, and current wellness practices.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and spa operating standards without exception.
  • Track stock levels and escalate maintenance or operational issues as needed.
  • Develop positive guest relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Coordinate smoothly with spa colleagues and other departments to support a seamless experience.
  • Take part in training and ongoing development to maintain service quality and brand knowledge.
  • Show professionalism, discretion, and a consistently positive attitude when dealing with guests and coworkers.

Requirements

  • A certification or diploma in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a similar discipline.
  • Prior work experience in a spa, wellness center, or upscale hospitality setting is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of massage methods and beauty treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A polished professional image and a positive demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A commitment to delivering luxury service aligned with the Raffles and Fairmont brand promise.
  • A respectful, inclusive approach that values every individual.
