Role Summary

As a Room Attendant, you will help uphold the luxury standards of Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha by ensuring guest rooms and selected public spaces are spotless, well-stocked, and welcoming. The role calls for careful attention to detail, polished guest interactions, and consistent adherence to brand expectations. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to support smooth operations and deliver a memorable stay for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep guest rooms, suites, corridors, and assigned public areas clean and maintained to premium hospitality standards.
  • Prepare rooms so they are fully stocked, neatly arranged, and aligned with Raffles and Fairmont brand guidelines.
  • Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently, providing service that feels personal and attentive.
  • Log and escalate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
  • Work in coordination with housekeeping supervisors, front office, engineering, and other departments to ensure a smooth guest journey.
  • Stay informed about hotel facilities, services, and amenities so guests can be assisted confidently when needed.
  • Use housekeeping equipment, linens, and supplies carefully and keep them in good condition.
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Protect guest privacy and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Address guest concerns and special requests professionally, aiming for quick resolution and satisfaction.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning tasks, turndown service, and other housekeeping work as assigned.
  • Contribute positively to the team while supporting the luxury service culture of the hotel.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior housekeeping experience, ideally in a luxury hotel setting, is preferred.
  • Strong eye for detail and a commitment to very high cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine focus on guest service.
  • Ability to manage guest interactions with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
  • Physical ability to complete housekeeping tasks in a busy environment.
  • Capacity to multitask, prioritize work, and operate independently while maintaining quality.
  • Basic familiarity with housekeeping routines, cleaning methods, and safety practices is preferred.
  • Strong organization and consistent follow-through on departmental rules and brand standards.
  • Comfort working with a multicultural and diverse team.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to embody the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise in day-to-day work.
