Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement departmental objectives and key performance indicators to drive success.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining spa operational policies, emphasizing safety and emergency protocols, ensuring full team compliance.
• Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of spa staff to maintain high service standards and promote career advancement.
• Engage with meeting planners to promote spa facilities and create tailored wellness packages for conference and corporate clients.
• Manage all communications with potential spa customers and business partners professionally across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to support spa promotions, enhance digital presence, and strengthen brand image.
• Monitor competitor landscape including locations, offerings, pricing, and promotional activities to uncover market opportunities.
• Optimize scheduling of spa services and events to efficiently allocate resources and enhance revenue streams.
• Maintain productive partnerships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products and cost efficiency.
• Oversee purchase requests, obtaining Director of Rooms' approval aligned with budget policies.
• Authorize invoices ensuring accuracy and contractual compliance prior to payment.
• Manage spa financial health including budgeting, revenue forecasts, expense tracking, and profitability analysis.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of products, supplies, and equipment minimizing waste.
• Ensure full adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards related to spa operations and guest well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Spa & Wellness Management, Beauty Therapy, or related discipline.
• At least 7 to 8 years of advancing management experience in spa, wellness, or upscale hospitality settings.
• Demonstrated success in spa operations oversight including managing budgets, staffing, and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in recruiting, training, and developing spa teams.
• Proven abilities in sales and business development, especially promoting wellness programs and securing corporate collaborations.
• Expertise in financial operations such as budget forecasting, controlling expenses, and analyzing profitability.
• Extensive knowledge of spa treatments, wellness services, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with clients, team members, suppliers, and corporate partners.
• In-depth understanding of spa-related health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance obligations.
