Job Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced Sourcer for a fully remote, permanent full-time role. This position involves comprehensive recruitment efforts, targeting engineering, product management, design, sales, marketing, and operations. Candidates must have prior experience working within a high-pressure staffing agency environment with a base plus commission pay structure. Familiarity with recruiting for scientifically oriented firms, including biotech, medical, and chemical or industrial engineering sectors, is essential. Holding a bachelor’s degree in a physical sciences discipline is considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with startup founders and hiring managers during early and growth phases to conduct in-depth discovery and create persuasive business presentations aimed at enticing top-tier candidates.
- Perform segment-specific research to comprehend the competitive landscape and identify leading companies from which to attract talent, giving clients a strategic advantage.
- Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Juicebox to locate and successfully connect with prime candidates in targeted segments and scientific fields.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including candidate pitching, interviewing, addressing objections, scheduling, interview preparation, negotiating offers, and conducting post-hire follow-ups.
- Engage in networking outreach with leaders in scientific and business communities to position Emblem as the premier link between physical sciences talent and cutting-edge technology enterprises.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of targeted outbound recruiting experience within an agency setting.
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory, with a strong preference for degrees in physical sciences.
- Proven track record of recruiting for companies with a scientific focus is highly preferred.
- Experience hiring across a variety of roles, including sales, marketing, product management, and software or hardware engineering.
