Solutions Project Coordinator - Telecommunications & Infrastructure

Position Overview

First Soft Solutions LLC is searching for a skilled Solutions Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, handling, and successful conclusion of enterprise-level projects involving telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and IT infrastructure across various sites.

The incumbent will lead technology modernization efforts, orchestrate cross-functional teams and vendors, manage timelines, and ensure projects align with business goals while delivering on time and within scope.

This role demands solid experience in project management, telecommunications, network infrastructure, vendor coordination, and executing enterprise technology deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise technology infrastructure projects from start to finish, including developing detailed plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcing.
• Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Identify potential risks, dependencies, issues, and take mitigation measures.
• Facilitate coordination between technical teams, business units, vendors, and leadership.
• Deliver frequent status reports and senior management communications.

Infrastructure Modernization

• Lead initiatives involving Voice over IP and Hosted Voice Services.
• Drive projects pertaining to enterprise data networks, wireless infrastructure, fiber optics, structured cabling, PA systems, HVAC monitoring, fire alarms, Cisco endpoint refreshes, and emerging technologies.

Telecommunications & Voice Services

• Manage enterprise-wide VoIP/HVS transformation projects and formulate migration strategies.
• Oversee site audits, inventory, staging, deployment, testing, and migration to ensure seamless transitions from legacy systems.

Vendor & Contract Management

• Establish strong working relationships with carriers, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Coordinate deliverables, schedules, and commitments across vendors.
• Participate in technology evaluations, procurement, and vendor selection.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure contractual compliance and SLAs fulfillment.

Asset & Infrastructure Governance

• Supervise enterprise asset inventory and ensure documentation within Asset Management systems is precise.
• Coordinate hardware lifecycle, replacements, and technology refreshes.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and records for projects.

Strategic & Special Projects

• Support company-wide IT infrastructure modernization efforts and network integration projects.
• Contribute to strategic technology planning and infrastructure development roadmaps.
• Work cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency and technology uptake.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar fields.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• At least 5 years’ experience managing projects or programs.
• Demonstrated history of overseeing telecommunications, network, voice, and enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Proven capability of managing multiple vendors and third-party relationships effectively.
• Hands-on experience with VoIP/Hosted Voice, enterprise networking, wireless technologies, and infrastructure modernization.
• Deep understanding of project management processes, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving aptitudes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, capable of providing leadership updates.

Preferred Experience

• Handling of multi-location enterprise technology rollouts.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking and endpoint refresh initiatives.
• Experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, and audiovisual system deployment.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and infrastructure lifecycle strategies.
• Awareness of governance, compliance, and enterprise technology standards.
• Exposure to public sector, healthcare, or large enterprise environments is beneficial.
