Role Overview
We seek a proactive and goal-focused Solar Sales Executive to boost sales of PM Surya Ghar Yojana rooftop solar systems, including On-Grid, Off-Grid, Solar Street Lights, and other green energy products. The candidate will utilize effective sales and marketing skills to turn potential leads into confirmed installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads by visiting sites, obtaining referrals, and conducting local marketing efforts.
- Promote and sell PM Surya Ghar Yojana rooftop solar panels.
- Expand business opportunities for On-Grid, Off-Grid solar systems, Solar Street Lights, and Solar Water Pump projects.
- Engage with homeowners, commercial clients, institutions, builders, and government agencies to discover potential sales.
- Perform site surveys and organize technical evaluations.
- Clarify subsidy advantages, investment returns, and financing options to clients.
- Prepare price quotations and negotiate deals to secure sales.
- Collaborate with operations teams for installation and project completion.
- Keep detailed daily sales reports, maintain customer databases, and handle follow-up communications.
- Achieve sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Foster long-term customer connections and develop referral-based sales.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any field, with preference for MBA or Marketing degrees.
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in solar, electrical, construction, or field sales roles.
- Fresh candidates with strong sales enthusiasm and readiness to travel are welcome.
- Good communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Basic understanding of rooftop solar technologies and PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Office and mobile apps.
- Must hold a valid two-wheeler driving license and be prepared for extensive travel.
